Things continue to boil for Tekashi69 as he sits in prison.
Just in, three individuals linked closely to the rapper have been given charges by the federal indictments. The three individuals are Kintea McKenzie, Anthony Ellison, and Denard Butler. TMZ believes that Tekashi69 may have given the names himself, after a meeting with investigators. If you recall, he recently plead not guilty.
As it turns out, McKenzie is a prime suspect in the shooting that occurred back in June, regarding rapper Chief Keef. According to law enforcement, McKenzie was one of the shooters, with the promise of $10,000 in cash to put an end to Keef. However, things didn’t go as planned. McKenzie and another shooter did not hit their target– ultimately allowing for Keef to get away unharmed.
Now, that cops have that useful bit of information, they’re interested in getting McKenzie in their custody. Meanwhile, Ellison and Butler are already in custody. Ellison saw an arrest for allegedly kidnapping and assaulting 69. Whereas ATF picked up Butler on Wednesday. Both will make court appearances Wednesday afternoon.
At the moment, Tekashi69’s lawyer hasn’t made a comment. And at the same time, the U.S. Attorney’s office is keeping quiet too.
