WATCH: ZHAVIA – “CANDLELIGHT”

Zhavia has debuted her deeply personal original song “Candlelight” today.

The stunning visual was shot in Newberry Springs Desert outside Los Angeles and directed by Clément Oberto.

“I’m so excited to release my first single ‘Candlelight,’” says Zhavia. “This song means so much to me. I’ve had this concept and some of the lyrics for a few years now and it has finally been put into an incredible song. I got to write it with one of my favorite artists, Somo.

This song represents one of the hardest times I went through, where I felt I had no hope and for the first time in my life I thought my dreams wouldn’t come true. Over time I realized the one thing I did have control of was the way I saw the world and the things around me. Learning to always be optimistic and always believing there is a way even when you don’t know how, led me to where I am now. Always be a dreamer!” 

Seventeen-year-old singer/songwriter Zhavia was one of the contestants on the inaugural season of FOX’s singing competition The Four. Zhavia emerged as a fan favorite with her soulful voice and quickly amassed a dedicated and loyal fan base with over 3.1 million followers on Instagram. Zhavia recently made her debut alongside French Montana and Lil Pump on the Diplo single “Welcome To The Party” from the film Deadpool 2.
