The Baton Rouge Native Shares a New Visual For the Highlight From Most Hated, Releasing April 15th via Def Jam Recordings
Fredo Bang‘s bruising lyricism and soulful flow have propelled him to the top of the Baton Rouge rap scene. Thoughtfully contrasting the perks and repercussions of his rising fame, Fredo shares “Trust Issues“. The new video finds Fredo performing the song in his studio, rocking his chain in memory of his friend Da Real Gee Money and pouring his heart and soul into every lyric. The video was released over the weekend and already has over 450k views. “Trust Issues” is the latest release from Most Hated, Fredo’s upcoming project.
“Trust Issues” is the latest in a long line of successful videos. These videos include “Yo Slime”, the bouncy “Waitin 4,” produced by Hardbody B-Eazy and DJ Chose , and the battle cry “Vest Up” . All four of these songs, will appear on his upcoming project Most Hated. The project boasts features from Moneybagg Yo, Lil Baby, and YNW Melly. The album will be released April 15th via Def Jam Recordings.
Fredo’s 20-song mixtape Big Ape dropped in May 2019. It hosted hits like “Oouuh,” “Gangsta Talk,” and “Story To Tell” (Remix). Fredo issued his November 2019 follow-up mixtape Pain Made Me Numb, which contained the singles “Cap A Lot” and “Slidin.” Fredo has amassed tens of million of worldwide streams, while his videos have netted over 52 million views on YouTube alone.
Prior to the Covid-19 hiatus, Fredo was looking forward to hitting the road on Moneybagg’s 26-city “Time Served Tour”. Its dates are running from March 19th through May 3rd. Details of the rescheduled tour will be announced in the months ahead.
