Tyler the Creator Splurges Big

With the huge success of his latest album, IGOR, which has included multiple award nominations.

Tyler The Creator recently made quite a big purchase for himself. The eccentric rapper rewarded himself with an IGOR-inspired iced out chain with a price tag of $275,000, which highlights his alter ego.

The hook up comes from celebrity jeweler Ben Baller, who made the one of a kind piece, saying it’s comprised of 18K gold. Featuring multiple types of diamonds on the pendant itself, even the clasp includes a diamond-encrusted “T” and the name “IGOR” is inscribed on the back of the pendant.

Today felt like a good day to shut down the internet. FYI: You can’t just book me to make you a piece. I have to super fuck with you to get down on a piece in this day because the list is LONG and the answer is NO. T has never got a piece from anyone else. This is my last piece of 2019. My last piece of this decade. So I knew I had to fucking crush it. I’m not even gonna get into specifics. Just know it’s heavy as fuck. Made out of 18K gold and has a lot of cognac, chocolate, blue, black and white diamonds. The gradient levels of brown to match T’s skin tone and especially when different shades of light hit it? 🤧. The overall aesthetic and how you can kinda see the curvature of the nose but also can’t see it. The VVS1 D color 1 carat solitaire earring in IGOR’s ear tho 👀😤 Thank you T for always trusting me. Even though I hate your guts in person, but I also LOVE YOU! I have seen you grow into something insane. Congrats on all your success. You deserve it 100% Luck had nothing to do with where I am today, this was all meant to be. #IGOR #BenBallerDidTheChain #IFANDCO

On an Instagram posted, the Baller points out the details of the incredible, and expensive, necklace. He also made a note that Tyler’s infamous pendant would be his last work of the decade. “My last piece of this decade. So I knew I had to fucking crush it. I’m not even gonna get into specifics. Just know it’s heavy as f*ck.”

2019 has been a great year for Tyler The Creator. The rapper’s album IGOR has been well received, selling over 164,866 units in its first week alone. The project debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 and received a Grammy nomination for Best Rap Album. Despite the awkward backlash for his album from Dj Khaled and fans unhappiness with Drake’s surprise appearance at his annual concert Camp Flog Gnaw, Tyler continues to see success.

Let us know what you think of the piece in the comments below. Would you pay this kind of price for a chain?
