Earlier this week global superstar (and classical flutist NBD), Lizzo, announced that HBO Max will premiere a documentary of her life story this upcoming fall. The doc remains untitled. However, her massive rise to stardom in the past couple of years leaves listeners saying “it’s about damn time” Lizzo gets a movie.
Lizzo New Album 2022
Lizzo shared with Harper’s Bazaar,, saying, “From my album ‘Cuz I Love You’ to my epic world tour, experiencing love and heartbreak, and working on my new album ‘Special,’ you all get to witness the dedication, hard work, and emotions that went into this journey.” She added, “Becoming a ‘overnight success’ actually takes ten years, and I hope to inspire other young artists to never give up.”
According to Apple Music, Special, Lizzo’s new album 2022, will be released on July 15. The artist describes the album as full of songs about love. In the Apple Music description of Special, Lizzo expresses, “Love for oneself and for others is what this world needs to be better.”
Song of the Summer
Lizzo’s most popular song of 2022 “About Damn Time” has gone viral on TikTok thanks to choreographer Jaeden Gomez. Their combined talent arrived just in time to make Lizzo’s single the song of the summer. Just in time for the premiere of her documentary on HBO Max this fall.
