T.I. Arrested In Amsterdam During Anniversary Trip

T.I. ran into some legal trouble during his anniversary trip with wife Tameka “Tiny” Harris. The two enjoyed a lavish stay in Italy for their 11th anniversary before deciding to travel to Amsterdam.

The two lovebirds spontaneously rode bikes around the city. While bike riding and using his phone, the rapper collided with a police vehicle, breaking off the side mirror. He blamed the incident on the bike’s broken handlebar.

It is in fact illegal to be on the phone at the same time as bike riding.

    T.I. Unbothered By Encounter

T.I. immediately took to Instagram to fill his fans in on the details of the ordeal. He openly admitted to his wrongdoing.

“So, I’m locked up now,” Tip explained in the video. “I’m obviously not supposed to have my phone as I’m biking, and because the policeman ran into me and broke his rearview [mirror], and because I didn’t have my passport on me. I don’t know, it’ll be fine.”

    “I’m Not Mad, You Are”

The rap mogul refused to match the energy of the clearly angry officer. The ride from the streets to jail was reportedly smooth. In no way did T.I. put up a fight. He was determined to stay in good spirits during his anniversary trip.

“He was extremely upset,” Tip clarified . “I myself, I was having a great time. Still, I’m still not upset. I’m having a phenomenal time. They arrested me, they didn’t even put me in handcuffs. They just opened the door and invited me to the backseat. I obliged.”

    Tip Denied Bail

Upon arrest, the Atlanta native attempted to bail himself out with the stack of cash he had in his pocket. The cash was captured on camera; however, the associated officers did not respond to the offering. Instead, T.I. was required to have someone bring his passport.

The patriarch of the celebrity family attributed the mishap to a language barrier. Despite the slight inconvenience, the Harrises enjoyed the remainder of their anniversary trip.
