Jamaican dancehall artist Spice, Grace Latoya Hamilton, recently posted a photo on social media announcing she is pregnant with her third child. Her announcement has brought out a lot of congratulatory messages and well wishes from her fans all over the world.
While many of her fans are ecstatic with her pregnancy news, some doubt her announcement. They believe it could be a publicity stunt for her upcoming album or shows. Others are skeptical due to her recent controversy over her skin tone, which they think was artificially lightened through permanent skin bleaching.
Spice, who is a Jamaican singer, songwriter, and businesswoman, is recognized as one of the top artists in the dancehall music genre. She has been a part of the music industry for over two decades and is known for her hit singles, such as Romping Shop featuring Vybz Kartel in 2009.
The 40-year-old Go Down Deh singer, who grew up in Jamaica, captioned the super glam image set with the message: “God has been so good to me.” She wore a beautiful blue tulle gown that showcased her growing baby bump while she pushed a baby carriage adorned with blue flowers.
But the truth is it was all a metaphor. The baby daddy of her new ‘child’ is Spice herself. She wanted to use a pregnancy reveal to promote the birth of her new album.
