Pokemon XY Events: Legendaries, Xerneas & Yveltal
Pokemon Go (Nintendo / Niantic) based on the anime, Pokemon, will host two iconic events that trainers across the world can take part in. The events will be entitled, Luminous Legends events X and Y. These events trace back to the old X and Y Pokemon games that were released back in 2013 on Nintendo 3DS. Piggybacking on the nostalgia theme that has been increasing profits for the gaming company.
When Will Nintendo Pokemon Go Event Take Place?
Mark these dates down. The Luminous X event will run from 4th May at 10 am until 17th May at 8 pm. Xerneas will be located in five-star raids for the very first time. Then, on Tuesday, May 18, 2021, through Monday, May 31, 2021, the Legendary Pokémon Yveltal will be making its Pokémon GO debut!
Two Legendaries: Life and Destruction, Xerneas & Yveltal
Xerneas, a Life Pokemon, will be released as part of the game’s Luminous Legends X event. Originally, discovered in Kalos region, legends report that Xerneas has eternal life. Xernea’s horns can also shine in seven different colours. This legendary Fairy-type can be found in five-star raids for a two-week period. So, gather your friends and hit up some gym raids, if you want this one.
Contrary, to the Xeneas eternal lifeforce, Yveltal is a destructive Pokemon. Yveltal will be the second legendary Pokemon from the Kalos region to be featured in the Luminous Legends Y event. During these events, many new pokemon will be introduced to the game for the first time. So keep an eye out, you never know who you will stumble upon.

A highly aticipated research event includes an opportunity to save Shadow Moltres from Giovanni. Another opportunity has trainers collectively pushing to catch 500 million Fairy-type pokemon. Yes, you read that right 500 million but trainers will work in unison for this task.
If the task is completed, then all players will get a 3x Catch XP bonus for the remainder of the event. Pancham will also make its Pokemon GO debut and Shiny Galarian Ponyta will appear with greater frequency.
