Nashville-based Duo KJ Wild Released Their Debut Single Titled “sad story”

Nashville-based duo KJ Wild consists of solo artists Kiki Halliday and Jon Worthy, who recently teamed up to release an outstanding single entitled “sad story,” which is their first release and was written and produced by Adam Agin.

The stunning duo has continuously been striving to be heard in an industry with so much competition. Still, Jon Worthy and Kiki Halliday have emerged due to their authentic music-making capabilities.

KJ Wild recently conversed with us and responded to our particular 4 Questions. Take a look below.

HYPEFRESH: First, let’s introduce ourselves. Just the essentials, like your name, age, and where you’re from, share as much or as little as you feel comfortable with.

KJ Wild: They have good songs about bad feelings—a self-appointed “supergroup” (à la boy genius or Bonny Light Horseman). KJ WILD is an alt-pop duo of solo artists Kiki Halliday and Jon Worthy.

Based in Nashville and originally from Los Angeles and Pittsburgh, Halliday and Worthy joined to form KJ Wild in 2020. Their debut release, “sad story,” was co-written and produced by Adam Agin.

The band is touring cities such as NYC, LA, and Nashville. It has gained a monthly listening audience of 30k on Spotify and over 200 sync placements in popular shows like Selling Sunset and Love Island.

HYPEFRESH: Can you tell us about your new single, “sad story”?

KJ Wild: The sad story is the first release from the project, and it is about the pain of growing up, seeing your friends less, and not being sure about the direction you are heading.

We are always so in our heads sometimes it’s hard to see the whole world around us waiting for us to find peace and enjoy the moment.

HYPEFRESH: What do you like most about being a music artist?

KJ Wild: Being an artist makes us feel most ourselves, excites us to wake up in the morning, and comforts us during our darkest moments.

HYPEFRESH: How can our readers follow you online?

KJ Wild: Please follow us @kikihalliday @jonworthymusic @kjwildband on Instagram, TikTok, and Facebook.
