Nami Shares New Project ‘Demos For Drake’

Nami, a Cape Verdean Platinum producer and songwriter, prepares for his debut as an artist.

Recently the multifaceted musician dropped off the release of his 6-track mixtape, Demos For Drake. Yes, it’s what you’re thinking, but so much more.

In fact, Nami’s first EP is a collection of songs inspired by Drake and the diverse range of sounds he’s explored over the years. Throughout the project, he perfectly paid homage to the melodic rapper’s influence on the ever-expanding genre. Additionally, Nami spits his rhymes and flexes his rap skills for the first time ever! In addition to executively producing each track, providing a behind-the-scenes look at the creative process.

Outside of his work as one of the most in-demand, up-and-coming young producers in2021, this is his first artist offering. A couple of years ago, Nami relocated from his hometown of Santiago, Cape Verde, to Los Angeles to pursue a career in music. Since, at the age of 19, Nami has earned the title of Cape Verde’s first Platinum producer. Along with a long list of achievements under his belt. Including major cuts with Ariana Grande, RUSS, Bryson Tiller, YBN Cordae, Earthgang, Amine, and many others.
