    Migos’ New Album Emulates Michael Jordan’s Historic Career Announcement 

    A press release from Quality Control Music was released in response to questions about Culture III. The Quavo, Offset and Takeoff’s statement simply says, “June 11th. We’re Back.”

    The album format pays tribute to Michael Jordan’s iconic announcement in March 1995, when he made his return to the NBA and the Chicago Bulls from his brief stint in baseball, famously using a fax machine.

    New Single ‘Straightenin,’ Teaser for Culture III 

    The Atlanta rappers dropped their latest single “Straightenin,” which quickly gained traction with its music video reaching seven million YouTube views within three days. In an interview with Apple Music, Quavo shared their excitement about the group’s comeback and their upcoming endeavors to make waves in the music industry.

    “We’re here to remind them. Time for a powerful comeback. More championships, more success, more impact. This is just the beginning.”

    He added, “For the next decade, expect more from Migos. We’ll bring new sounds and our signature flow. This will take us to new heights, even selling out soccer fields.”

    The Last Project Release

    The group dropped their newest album, Culture II, in January 2018. It included collaborations with renowned artists such as Drake, Travis Scott, Nicki Minaj, Cardi B, Post Malone, 21 Savage, and others. The album soared to the top of the Billboard 200 chart, selling 199k album-equivalent units and achieving 2x platinum certification by December 2018.

    With summer approaching, fans can expect Culture III to bring the heat.
