The ongoing war between hip-hop journalists DJ Akademiks and prominent hip-hop artists spills over to the new audio chatroom app, Clubhouse.
Last night, Philadelphia rapper Meek Mill and DJ Akademiks had a war of words with each other in a Clubhouse chatroom with other big names in the hip-hop industry. Artist like 21 Savage, Lil Yacthy, Tory Lanez, PNB Rock, and Guapdad 4000. There were some big name producers in attendance like DJ Mustard and CardoGotWings.
The chat became heated when Meek Mill brought awareness to the way Akademiks runs his popular Instagram page. Meek claims the only way Philadelphia rappers can get on his page is by dissing Meek.

There has been a lot of talk lately about how popular journalists in hip-hop only report on the culture to get artists in trouble. New York artists Cassanova, surrendered himself to the authorities after indicting him on racketeering charges. The authorities claims they used information from his past interviews with VladTv. DJ Akademiks has been confronted on multiple occasions regarding his glorification of the dangerous Chicago environment.
