If someone had told MacKenzie Bezos she’d be a billionaire, she probably would have never believed it.

But as of lately, it’s a bonafide fact.

Mrs. Bezos is married to one of the wealthiest men in the world– Jeff Bezos. Bezos is the CEO of Amazon, which happens to be the world’s largest internet company regarding revenue. However, before Amazon blew up the way that it did, they were some regular Joes. It took four years before the money started to pour in.

Though, despite all the luck with money, Bezos announced that he and MacKenzie would be ending their marriage in divorce– which left everyone wondering about how things would be settled.

TMZ did some digging, and they found that the two did not have a prenuptial agreement. So, under Washington law, everything earned throughout the duration of their marriage should be split evenly.

This means MacKenzie is going to look FAT in those jeans…that is to say, her pockets will.

Everything gets split down the middle, including other assets like property purchased during the marriage. According to TMZ, the couple owns 400,000 acres of land.

But there is a hiccup in all of this. Reportedly, JB has a large stake of the money tied up in Amazon. So determining how to obtain the $137 billion going to require some work.

The Bezos’ were married for 25 years. Bezos announced their divorce on Wednesday.

He states they are still very good friends.
