LunchMoney Lewis Taps Meghan Trainor For New “Ocean” Single

LunchMoney Lewis is simply unstoppable. If he’s not providing pen to today’s biggest stars like Saweetie, City Girls and Doja Cat, he is creating huge hits for himself like we get today in the new release “Ocean” featuring pop star Meghan Trainor.

The latest preview to his upcoming A Good Time For No Reason album. LunchMoney Lewis brings Meghan to Miami for a smooth vibe on the new song about everlasting love. A reunion collaboration for the two who worked together back in 2016 on the song “I Love Me,” Trainor and Lewis dive deep on the Infamous production and splash around a sweet sing-a-long hook and passionate lyrics. On the song, Lewis wanted to take Trainor on a late-night swim.

LML shared, “I wrote the song late at night in the studio when my friend and producer Infamous sent me guitar loops. The song came from the soul, and I knew I wanted Meghan’s vocals. We have a great history of bops together, and she’s an underrated vocalist with soulful arrangements and excellent songwriting skills. When she sent it back, I knew we had something special. I’m happy it’s out in the world now for everyone to enjoy.”

Lewis forthcoming project is slated for a 2021 release. Meghan Trainor appears on the song via Epic Records. “Ocean” is available everywhere via Lunchbox Records. Stream it above and below.
