Lil Wayne Returns With New Music

Lil Wayne is back with new music. The “Uproar” rapper has released a DMX-sampling track called “Kant Nobody,” produced by Avenue and Swizz Beatz. The song is the first from his upcoming Tha Carter VI, and it’s a throwback to the early aughts that won’t disappoint fans of Judiciary and Snow Ellet alike.

    Mixtapes Are Finally Streaming

It’s been a long time coming, but mixtapes are finally making their way to streaming platforms. In the past year, several iconic tapes have been added to streaming services like Spotify, Apple Music and Tidal, including 50 Cent’s 50 Cent Is the Future, JAY-Z’s The S. Carter Collection, Drake’s So Far Gone and Lil Wayne’s Dedication 2—though there are still plenty of other beloved Weezy mixes that have yet to make their way into the digital library.

Now, DJ Drama, who has hosted a number of the rap legend’s Gangsta Grillz mixtapes, has announced that one of them will be hitting the digital shelves at some point this year. The acclaimed project is reportedly going to include some new music as well, so it’s definitely worth checking out for the die-hard Weezy fan.

In a new sit-down interview with the Rap Radar podcast, DJ Drama revealed that Dedication 2 will be making its debut on DSPs later this year and will feature some new music as well. He also mentioned that the next installment in his Gangsta Grillz series is in the works.
