Lil Nick B is a journalism major who proudly attends Texas Southern University. Nick, for short, has been an active member of the Boy Scouts of America. Through this program, Lil Nick B learned the value of giving back to the community.
The artist has honed a lot of skills from the work force, since his first job at 15 years old. A few of those jobs, Starbucks and Whole Foods and even working as an apprentice electrician contribute to his long suffering work ethic.

Who is Lil Nick B?
Lil Nick B: Okay, I’m all about getting the job done. So, I work with my music to inspire people, let people know that you can be anything you want to be in this world. You don’t have to wait for anybody, you don’t have to wait for anything. You can go get it just with the tools you have right now. Right, so I’m all about making things happen. You know what I’m saying?
What kind of music do you do?
LNB: I’m a rapper. I do hip-hop music, rap music, you can say that it is conscious music, that’s my brand. Conscious Influence. I’m an independent artist.
Do you have any projects out right now?
LNB: I do have two projects out, I have, Starstruck, the album. And I have Space Cadet, which is also an album.
Are you looking to stay indie or do you want to migrate into the industry?
LNB: I’m really looking on staying independent because I’m trying to push a label, I’ve got a lot of independent artists behind me. But, I would move to the industry if the deal was right or if it’s something that’s really benefiting me. It would have to be something I couldn’t say no to.
