Recently, the NBA star announced plans to produce a docuseries on the life and legacy left behind by one of HipHop’s most influential rappers; Nipsey Hussle.
LeBron James Wants To Tell Nipsey Hussle’s Story
It goes without saying that Nipsey Hussle has impacted many people’s lives. He’s even been a legend and idol to some of the biggest stars in Hollywood. LeBron James has certainly been influenced by the slain rapper. Now the basketball star wants to share his legacy with the world. Recently, James and Maverick Carter’s SpringHill Company announced his next film project as the life story of Nipsey Hussle. Furthermore, SpringHill will finance, and executive produce the film. Additionally, Hussle’s Marathon Films will have an equal stake in the project as well.
Further details on the project reveal that the film will detail the highs and lows of Hussle’s life. Moreover, the docuseries will detail everything about his life, starting from growing up in the Crenshaw neighborhood of Los Angeles to becoming one of the biggest HipHop stars today.
Additionally, it will feature interviews from over 50 collaborators, including Snoop Dogg, Kendrick Lamar, Diddy, and Hussle’s longtime girlfriend, Lauren London. Netflix may be the King of documentary series these days, but nothing will compare to Nipsey Hussle’s docuseries.

LeBron James has gone from NBA star to now master film producer. He might be slated to take home an Oscar after announcing his latest project. More importantly, James shared his excitement over the upcoming Nipsey Hussle docuseries. “It’s an incredible honor for SpringHill to have a part in sharing Nipsey’s story and legacy with the world . . . He used his gift to give back to his community and lived what it means to inspire, empower, and uplift others along the way,” the Lakers basketball star told Deadline. No one will want to miss this film.
