A video of a fan throwing a jacket during Glorilla’s performance at Insomnia Nightclub has gone viral. The clip was filmed by a customer and has since been posted to YouTube. The video features a woman whose clothing is strewn across the dance floor. It also includes a man who is seen attempting to pick up the clothing and put it in a bag. Despite the accolades, Insomnia Nightclub was snubbed by Harris County officials last week for its alleged late-night booze-fueled shenanigans. The club boasted bar hours that lasted well into the wee hours of the morning and was found to be operating illegally. The venue was cited in two separate lawsuits by the county’s office of code enforcement. During one of the visits, undercover officers bought drinks at 3 a.m., which prompted the prosecution to order a temporary restraining order and nuisance abatement.
There is no word on whether the location will reopen under new management or be shuttered for good. It is also unclear whether the bar has a sister club in the works.

The incident came just a week after a different altercation took place at Complex in Oakland. The promoter for the venue, Con B, took to Instagram to clear up the situation. He reportedly paid $30,000 for GloRilla to perform but she only did a walkthrough.
This has lead to a dispute between GloRilla and the promoter. According to a post by Shade Room, the promoter wants GloRilla to refund him $30k.
However, Yo Gotti, who signed GloRilla to his CMG label, has responded to the promoter and said that she was not booked to perform at the venue. Instead, she was supposed to do a walkthrough and that is why her appearance at the club was altered.
He wrote in the comment section of The Shade Room’s post that he “booked lil Glo NOT Big Glo #CMG.” In addition to this, he posted an Instagram video of a sold-out GloRilla show and what the crowd looked like at the event.
