Dog the Bounty Hunter Has a Broken Heart and It’s Making Him Sick

Poor Dog the Bounty Hunter.

Over the weekend, Dog the Bounty Hunter was taken to a hospital for extreme chest pains. TMZ reports that at first it was believed that the star was suffering from a heart attack. However, it wasn’t until later that doctors concluded that wasn’t the case.

Dog, whose real name is Duane Chapman, had to be rushed to a hospital after his heart started to pace increasingly fast. As he spoke in his first interview since his hospitalization, he reveals that it felt like he had run 3 to 4 miles– when in fact he had only done a small workout.

Dog’s Theory

Dog believes it wasn’t a heart attack, but instead, a case of missing his late wife.

“It feels much better now. And I’m going through some psychological things right now too, so that doesn’t help. I think basically, I had a broken heart. And of course, it’s going to heal.”

His wife Beth passed away in June after she had been battling cancer. Beth was 51-years-old. She and the Dog had been married for over a decade. They often appeared in their TV reality show, “Dog the Bounty Hunter,” together.

After her passing, Beth will still be featured on Dog’s latest show, “Dog’s Most Wanted.” TMZ says the show has footage documenting Beth’s days of fighting cancer until the very end.

As for Dog, he says his children are by his side and will be helping him in his recovery journey.
