Lately, rap stars have said time and time again that they’re ready for retirement. Though, some emcees just can’t hang up the mic. As we all may remember, rapper Desiigner went on a rampage about leaving the rap game a few months back. His emotional rant was brought on by Takeoff’s death. Now it appears Desiigner has changed his tune. Desiigner’s new music makes it clear he’s not leaving the rap game any time soon.
Desiigner Says Music Is His Therapy
Desiigner once threatened to leave the rap game for good. The gang and gun violence surrounding the rap community has understandably left many rappers on edge, especially the “Panda” emcee. Though, the former G.O.O.D Music signee had a change of heart, after realizing that he can’t live without music in his life.
“I’m not gonna stop. Music is my therapy. Lost a lot of bros this year. We all say things out of emotions but the truth is in me being able to let out a good cry helped me see things more clearer now,” the “Hood” rapper said on his Instagram stories. Clearly, music is his saving grace.
He’s Not Leaving The Rap Game
In addition to admitting that he can’t live without music, Desiigner’s new music has really made waves. Furthermore, the rap star dropped his new track and music video for “Bigger And Bigger,” which features him walking around his hometown as a Kong-like, larger-than-life figure. The guy definitely made a splash with his comeback.
