Cilo Prepares ‘Los’ LP With New Music Video “Don’t B Bitter / 101”

Rising star Cilo continues to generate excitement with his latest album, Los. The album’s third single, “Don’t B Bitter/101,” has been released, accompanied by a music video directed by Julian & Jen Garcia. The track features the talents of Ging (formerly known as Frank Dukes), a collaborator of Kendrick Lamar, and the captivating vocals of Nikki Pararuan. Cilo skillfully combines soulful strings and powerful 808s to create a standout hit.

The production on “Don’t B Bitter” seamlessly transitions into the psychedelic guitar riffs and live drums of “101,” allowing Cilo to express his emotions and share insights about his life and future plans through his lyrics.

In a press release, Cilo explains, “Working on this record, I aimed to create a song that serves as an introduction to my world. It’s a time capsule of my life, which is why it’s divided into two parts. The first half embodies the aggressive energy of my youth and the environment I grew up in. The second half reflects my current energy after leaving the city, exploring the world, and overcoming that environment. I face new challenges and victories now. As I mention in the verse, ‘My life is different.'”

The single “Don’t B Bitter/101” joins previously released tracks “Palm Trees” and “Shine” featuring Poet22, all of which are included in the 10-song tracklist of the Los album. Throughout Los, Cilo showcases his emotional range, charisma, and touches on various themes such as humor, paranoia, confidence, pride, and love. The album is available on all platforms via Pastel Studios/Venice Music.
