Bernie Sanders is tossing his hat back in the presidential race.
After first running in 2016, Sanders is ready to try again for the 2020 elections. The 77-year-old senator for Vermont announced his plans on Tuesday, while on Vermont Public Radio.
Together, you and I and our 2016 campaign began the political revolution. Now, it is time to complete that revolution and implement the vision that we fought for.
Sanders hopes that his ideals will hit-home with more Americans this time around. Sanders will remain a presidential candidate for the Democratic party. According to the independent senator, he is a better-suit for the White House and America, than the current president is.
“I think he is a pathological liar. … I also think he is a racist, a sexist, a homophobe, a xenophobe, somebody who is gaining cheap political points by trying to pick on minorities, often undocumented immigrants.”
