A Face-Off Between Hip Hop Artists
Timberland’s and Swizz-Beats VERZUZ Hip-Hop Battle is the best thing that’s come out of the novel pandemic. It brings together the best Hip-Hop artists in the industry for one epic social media showdown.
VERZUZ’s most talked-about battle to date happened between Gucci Mane and JEEZY from two weeks ago. These two delivered an intense and revolutionary showdown, putting aside their huge online feud just for that one moment. Their rap duel ultimately changed Hip-Hop culture for the better.
As a whole, the VERZUZ Hip-Hop battles have altered the entire landscape of the Hip-Hop industry, opening up a platform for both new and long-time urban artists to showcase their talent. In addition to hosting epic battles between the biggest male rap stars in the game, the webcast series has also brought on the greatest female artists. Turns out those who guessed the “Good Good” were right. Adding to her case, Ashanti even expressed her interest in joining VERZUZ’s Hip-Hop Battle on Fat Joe’s Instagram show. Looks our girl got her wish.
Shortly after Cole’s Instagrams post, VERZUZ released one of their own, confirming rumors that she’d face off with the “Foolish” singer. Both are equally great singers and know how to put is in our relationship feels. Additionally, the two even performed on stage together for their 2012 track “Woman to Woman”, which already gives us a pretty gauge for how this battle will turn out.
