Unfortunately, the road to racial justice and change continues to rage on. Ari Lennox recently faced racial discrimination at an airport in Amsterdam. Since her arrest, the singer broke her silence and reflected over her experience.

On Dec. 4, Lennox took to Twitter to express her remorse on the situation. Disturbingly, the singer revealed that even after her arrest, she’s still being silenced.

“My only regret is my reaction to the racism and discrimination I experienced . . . I would like to explain what happened to me, but KLM has made it clear that they never cared to hear it from jump. It’s painful being silenced like this. It’s painful what I went through. I’m not ok.”

It’s daunting to know that even at the start of a new decade, racism still exist in the world. Hopefully, the Amsterdam airport officials are reprimanded at the highest degree.

“Hey loves I’m safe. Thank you so much for your prayers and love,” Lennox tweeted.
