Antonio Brown was stopped by cops on Thursday. The Pittsburgh wide receiver was speeding down Mcknight Road, just outside of Pittsburgh. Police clocked his Black Porsche going at a speed of more than 100 miles per hour, in a 45 miles per hour zone. Prior to the stop, police were tipped off about a nearby bank robbery. Brown was initially mistaken as being the possible bank robber. Cops let him go with a citation for speeding, once they learned he wasn’t the suspect.
The Pittsburgh Steelers released a statement following the news. In the statement they said, “We are aware of the situation, but we are still gathering information. We won’t have any further comment at this time.”
The team has a game Thursday night against the Carolina Panthers.
