Cool. Sexy. Comfort. Warm. All of these can be used to describe what models in the new underwear campaign for Alexander Wang X Uniqlo thought of the new products from the fashion creator and Japanese ready-to-wear brand.
The effortless and essential aesthetic of Wang fused with Uniqlo’s minimalist ethos, makes for the perfect pairing. The heattech giant and the designer produced a line of bralettes, bodysuits, tees, leggings, bras, and briefs for men and women in a range of neutral colors.
The line premiered November 9th and hit stores first in Manhattan, then across other branches and online. All items are priced just below $40 and are well worth the additions to your wardrobe.
In an interview with Vogue, Wang shares that this next step for him has been a decade in the making…
“This is actually our 10-year anniversary…We’ve stayed in touch over the years. Mr. Yanai [Uniqlo’s CEO and president] has always been very, very supportive and said, ‘When you have an idea to do something let’s connect.’ ”
