Nike & Paul George Honors Original Vintage PlayStation Model

PG has been holding it down for the Thunder since Westbrooke went down with an injury. The NBA star has been killing it on and off the court!

Earlier this year it was PG who really made an impact on the sneaker game with the Nike/Playstation collaboration. This time the Nike Paul George 2.5 silhouettes got a makeover that honors the world of gamers. The collaboration captured the first generation of PlayStation, honoring the memorable system with details even down to the button icons on the controller.

Despite being a professional basketball player, PG still finds times to play games on the system. This is what he had to say:

“Before, I played video games just because it was fun,” George says. “Now I do it because that’s how I relax. I need an exit from reality sometimes, to get away, to be in a different place and different moment.”
