With the recent swirl of controversy surrounding him, YoungBoy NBA is letting it all get in the way of his music. In an odd turn of events, YoungBoy Never Broke Again released the latest single from his latest album AI YOUNGBOY 2, titled “Dirty Iyanna”. The Louisiana native rap star did his own take on Michael Jackson’s iconic hit “Dirty Diana”. Delivering a surprisingly great performance that has been well received by the internet.
The newly released single is accompanied by harsh lyrics about an experience with an ex-girlfriend. Which many believe to be throwing shade at Floyd Mayweather’s daughter Iyanna Mayweather. “I see she won’t leave me alone/She sliced the tires on my car,” referencing an infamous fight he had with he with the ex in question. The song flows the same as the original record, but his lyrics are catered to his current situations.
Along with the song’s release. YoungBoy NBA is also released a music video to accompany the track that showcases the bad in YoungBoy’s relationship. The video shows a young ski-mask-wearing woman breaking into his houses and evading guards before ultimately slashing the tires of his car.
YoungBoy NBA’s project, AI YOUNGBOY 2, has since hit #1 on the Billboard 200 charts since its release. Though he is still on house arrest, YoungBoy NBA is not letting that stop him from putting out new music.
