Before all the glitz and glamor, some celebrities lived a hard and treacherous life. Unfortunately, Young Thug relationships prove that he didn’t live the high life ahead of his fame. Like many rappers, the “SLIME” rapper endured a tough childhood out in the streets. Often times he found himself caught in police cross hairs. Unfortunately, no amount of fame and money can make even the most famous celebrity escape their past mistakes. Recently, news hit that Young Thug relationship woes resulted in charges related to his old gang life.
He’s “Young Thug” For A Reason
It’s no wonder Jeffery Lamar Williams chose the stage name Young Thug. Turns out, he was a thug in real life. On Monday, police took the “Bubbly” rapper into custody for his involvement in a gang related conspiracy from 2013 and 2018. Unfortunately, his crimes violated the Racketeer Influenced and Corrupt Organizations Act.
According to police reports, Young Thug even founded the street gang “Young Slime Life.” Making matters worse, his gang shares ties with the notorious Bloods. Clearly, there’s a lot more to his song “Gang Up” from The Fast &The Furious movie franchise. Currently, the rapper is still being held at the Fulton County Jail. He showed up for a court hearing on May 10, 2022. Young Thug wasn’t lying when dropping hints about his past gang life.
Gunna Ran With “The Young Slime Life” Gang Too
Speaking of dropping hints, police discovered that Gunna also ran with Young Thug’s Young Slime Life Gang. The police’s 88-page indictment used evidence from the Gunna’s songs and social media to charge him with gang-related activity as well.
Moreover, there’s been a long-held debate about rappers exposing details of their past crimes in rap songs. Obviously, it’s not a good idea to write verses containing incriminating information.
We will see how what happens as a result of Young Thug’s relationship with the streets? Will the charges stand?
