Today, the rising R&B meets Trap singer released the visuals to his latest single ‘Wedding Bands‘ featuring K CAMP. Premiering exclusively on Highsnobiety.com, Ye Ali co-directed this video and wrote the treatment after” being inspired by my friend’s wedding. The video is my imaginative perspective of a dream wedding.”
Produced by Cash God AP, Ye wrote the catchy lyrics “to be a celebration of working hard.” Currently in the studio working on the highly anticipated follow up to Trap House Jodeci, Ye spoke to Hypebeast saying he, “wanted to make something that sounded infectious yet effortless. I often hear songs about bands, but I’ve never heard it customized to the idea of marriage quite like this. Rappers say bands all the time, but I’ve never heard anyone make it into a play off wedding bands. When I posted the snippet the response was amazing so I knew it would be some of my best work.”
