    WWE Kofi Kingston Is More Interesting Than People Ever Imagined

    WWE Kofi Kingston is much more interesting than advertised. Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah, a 37-years-old Ghanian-American, is a professional wrestler for the WWE. He’s a popular figure in the world of wrestling and after this read his legend will only continue to grow. Here are a few things that many may not have known about Kingston.

    1) Kingston Studied at Boston University

    Kingston being born in Ghana, but eventually moved from Africa to America. He moved to the Boston area, where he studied at Winchester High School and later enrolled at Boston College, per sources. Kingston graduated from Boston College with a communications degree and worked briefly in advertising before embarking on professional wrestling.

    2) His First Love was Basketball

    Although Kingston love watching pro wrestling, he preferred basketball when it came to getting active and actually enjoying the sport. Unfortunately, this venture didn’t pan out as he failed to excel on the court.

    “The problem was, I just had such small hands,” Kingston has revealed. “I could blow by anyone on the court, but I had no handle. No jump shot.” With basketball a no-go, he turned his hand to wrestling, where the size of the aforementioned proved no barrier to success.”

    3) He’s Changed His Name Several Times

    Kingston was born Kofi Nahaje Sarkodie-Mensah. He went on to adopt a Jamaican persona when he began performing on the New England independent circuit as Kofi Nahaje Kingston. He later signed a deal with the WWE in 2007. Kingston debuted as Kofi Kingston. In 2009, he decided to drop the Jamaican persona and embrace his Ghanaian heritage, all while continuing to perform under the name Kofi Kingston.

    4) Kofi Kingston Wrote a Book

    In 2017, he and the members of his WWE wrestling group, Big E and Xavier Woods published “The Book of Booty: Shake it. Love It. Never Be it.” The non-fiction book features accounts of how the three wrestlers joined forces to take over the WWE. There are several trivia pages, coloring pages, questions, and fun games about the individuals within the group. The most intriguing part of the book is the proportion where these three explain their favorite wrestling techniques and how to execute them.
