The legendary group caused havoc in the 90’s with there outward expressions, and captivating lyrics. For decades the legendary group have built a fanbase on a global scale, and have been a strong representation of the art of hip-hop.
Just recently the surviving members of the New York-based group teamed up with the lyrical assassin known as Logic. The track they are featured on “Wu-Tang Forever” landed on Logic’s Young Sinatra IV project. The single earned Wu-Tang Clan, there first Billboard single in 16 years.
The single hit number 17 on R/B/Hip-Hop Digital sales, and number 44 overall on the all genre. While “Wu-Tang Forever” didn’t chart on Billboard’s Hot 100, it still hit No. 17 on R&B/Hip-Hop digital songs category.
The last time the legends were on the Billboard chart it was back in 2002. The song Uzi, captured the number 16 spot on Hot rap songs, while it earned the number 93 spot on ot R&B/ Hip-Hop. Logic’s album Young Sinatra IV, debuted at number 2 on the Billboard 200 this week. The release of Lil Wayne’s high anticipated album, Tha Carter V holds the top spot currently.
