Wu-Tang Clan Lands A 10-Episode

The streaming giant known as Hulu, has ordered a 10 episode series regarding the origin of hip-hop’s legendary rap group “Wu-Tang Clan”.

According to Variety, the title of the series will be called “Wu-Tang Clan: An American Saga is inspired by The Wu-Tang Manual and Tao of Wu-two books written by RZA-and pulls from the Wu’s real life story.

The series will reflect on the 90’s crack epidemic, alongside the formation of the legendary group. Alex Tse will be the creator and executive producer, he also wrote Superflyremake along with Wu-Tang visionary RZA. Group member Method Man will also aid in the role of executive producer.

Ghostface Killa, Masta Killa, Inspectah Deck, GZA, and the Estate of Ol’Dirty Bastard will be consulting producers on the project as well. “I’m delighted to be partnering with Hulu and Imagine to explore the vast story of the Wuniverse,” RZA expressed to Variety.

No release date has been confirmed regarding the start or official release of the series.
