White Supremacy hate acts have to stop.
A white nationalist is in custody in Ohio for threatening to shoot up a Jewish community center.
James Reardon Jr., 20, is charged with telecommunications harassment and aggravated menacing. Also, he is being held in the Mahoning County Jail on $250,000 bond with a court hearing planned for Monday morning.
On Friday, the FBI Violent Crimes Task Force raided Reardon’s house and seized a cache of weapons and ammunition.
Subsequently, police discovered numerous weapons from James Patrick Reardon‘s mother’s home, including two AR-15 rifles, bulletproof vests, and ammo.
WYTV reports that the post tagged the Jewish Community Center of Youngstown and it wrote in the caption, “Police identified the Youngstown Jewish Family Community shooter as local white nationalist Seamus O’Reardon.”
Also, the FBI found a Confederate flag flask and a jacket with Irish Republican Army print on it during their search.
D’egidio added that “there were several videos that [Reardon] posted on Instagram where he used a lot of derogatory remarks towards the Jewish community and the African American community.”
“This is a person that has declared himself as a white nationalist,” he added. “With the hate crimes and everything else going on, we want to make sure we did our part…”
“I’m confident that we are doing what we need to do at this point, but the world has changed…”
“…and we always have to assess what we are doing moving forward.”
Andrew Lipkin said, from the Youngstown Area Jewish Federation.
