Will Smith has always been a great actor. However, this news has rubbed us the wrong way as far as Deadshot.
According to sources, the wealthy actor will not reprise his role in the Suicide Squad sequel. He originally played a bullseye low life trigger happy assassin by the name of “Deadshot”. People believe that the actor will not be returning because of an unavoidable schedule conflict. The original movie came out in 2016 with fellow castmates Jared Leto, Viola Davis, Jay Hernandez, and Margot Robbie.
In 2016, the Suicide Squad trailer further proved why the movie would be epic. Back in September the “7 Pounds” actor was asked about his Deadshot role, and this is what was said:
I love playing Deadshot, I’ve really enjoyed that character,” he said. “They’ve been talking about it, so if a good idea comes around… we’ve been having meetings. But I’d love to. I love Deadshot.”
The former Philadelphia rapper already has quite the schedule coming up. Both Martin Lawrence and Will Smith have been confirmed Bad Boys 3.Pictures already have started circulating on social media of filming between the two actors. In addition, Will Smith shared the first look of the cast of Aladdin. He will be expected to have a hand in promoting the movie that has already finished filming. Furthermore, Smith confirmed last year that he would reprise his role in the Netflix’s smash “Bright”.
Should the film crew hold off on the Suicide Squad sequel until the real Deadshot return? Or should they add a new Deadshot? Leave your comments below, and stay tuned to Hypefresh.co.
