The streetwear company Supreme’s merge with the Nike shoe brand has proven a major success story. Both the apparel and shoe brand names have yielded huge successes from their partnership. Now the fashion giants just announced their March 4th release date for their latest collection, Supreme x Nike SB Dunk Low.
The highly anticipated collection will feature an assortment of color patterns that fans will swoon over. In particular, the collection will feature four new colorways including “Black”, “Hyper Blue”, “Mean Green” and “Backroot Brown.” The new Dunks sound fun already.
A Shoe That’s Lasted Through The Ages
Shoe aficionados will immediately notice that the Dunks are an ode to previous Supreme x Nike SB collabs. The latest collection specifically gives a nod to the 2003 collection that focused on the high-top Dunks. Even Nike’s signature “Metallic Gold” stars covering the mid-foot pay homage to the 18-year-collaboration. Clearly this shoe offers a nostalgic touch that long-time fans will appreciate.
The shoes even feature a few appealing stylistic touches, such as the smooth leather uppers with the matching croc skin overlays. Sources say that the shoe will also bear Supreme’s brand name and its signature red hue on the insoles. However, the black laces will have the “World Famous” slogan printed on the tips. The Dunks will certainly have a personality all of their own.
