Well$ is back with sharp focus. Linking with Atlanta’s Metro Boomin and Alec Lomami, the 21 year-old rapper is delivering “Heaven’s Door.“
The heavy-hitter is serving as the lead single for his upcoming EP, The Way I’m Living Makes My Mom Nervous. With the project due in late March, Well$ is also kicking off a tour beginning today, February 25th, at the Cake Shop in New York City, with four additional dates also on the bill.
“Heaven’s Door” is the North Carolina-bred, Congolese rapper’s latest offering, following loose singles “Coldest Heart,” “130,” and “608AM in Cleveland.” “This is an anthem for all disenfranchised people in general and for my city in particular,” Well$ told Billboard. “We don’t get a lot hype regardless if we fuego or not, and this is just me telling my n—-s keep going and make our presence felt and break the door down if they don’t want to let us in… Carolina is coming, and goddammit young Metro trusts me.”
