LION BABE release new visual for ‘Different Planet’
New York-based duo LION BABE, composed of singer-songwriter Jillian Hervey and producer Lucas Goodman, celebrate the conclusion of their album ‘Cosmic Wind’ with a three-part video series. The series includes the release of the ‘Sexy Please’ Official Music Video on February 17th, ‘Different Planet’ Official Music Video on March 9th, and an upcoming Official Music Video on March 31st, coinciding with the album’s one-year anniversary. These visuals capture the essence of the album, which explores self-discovery amidst inevitable change.
Released in 2019, the ‘Cosmic Wind’ album showcased standout singles like “Western World” featuring hip-hop legend Raekwon and the disco-infused track “The Wave” featuring Leikeli47. With 15 introspective tracks, the album demonstrates LION BABE’s growth both socially and lyrically.
In January, LION BABE put their funky, house spin on Nelly’s hip-hop hit “Hot in Herre,” giving it a refreshing female reboot. The track quickly gained recognition as one of the best R&B songs and reached the top spot on Hype Machine.
Throughout the years, LION BABE has collaborated with notable artists such as rapper/actor Childish Gambino and house music duo Disclosure, who featured the duo on their popular single “Hourglass.” They have also made appearances at renowned festivals like Coachella, AFROPUNK, Glastonbury, and Lightning In A Bottle.
