Verizon Wireless announced that it will be turning on Wi-Fi calling for select devices, such as the Samsung Galazy S6 and S6 Edge, next week.
iPhone, Samsung Galaxy S6 and S6 EDge users will have to wait for this function “early next year.”
To activate Wi-Fi calling on Androids, customers must download and install the latest software update and turn on Advanced Calling from the settings menu. Once the Advanced Calling is enabled, user can activate the Wi-Fi Calling. This feature comes in handy if you have terrible cellular connection, then you can simply use a Wi-Fi network. If you go outside Verizon’s network coverage, and a Wi-Fi network is available for use, the call will automatically go to Wi-Fi.
