Tekashi 6ix9ine has to be one of the biggest headaches in the industry.
With so much chaos that he brings you would think that he would take things a little more seriously. But at the end of the day, the self proclaimed “King Of New York” knows how to stay relevant.
Just over two weeks ago, one of Tekashi 6ix9ine bodyguards was shot while the star attempted to enter into a Chinese restaurant. The rappers camp returned fire, and placed him manager in a sticky situation forcing him to turn himself in.
For a longtime, the menace has bragged about him being able to land on his feet after facing tough times. In the middle of last week while on set for a song with Kanye and Nicki Minaj, a shot rung out forcing it to be canceled and everyone to leave. According to TMZ, Universal Music Group has canceled resuming the video after the incident.
With the cancelation of production as a whole, Universal Music Group will have to eat the cost of $480,000 for the video that will never receive completion. Lights, sounds effects, shoot security, and other factors added to the long expense sheet having to be paid out.
Tekashi’s unique way of being troublesome continues to grow with his public beef with rappers and gang members. Will Tekashi Six9ine ever back down??
