Heading out with a bang
It’s the start of a new year folks. For the world, it’s the beginning of new work out regiments, celebrations, and plans of eating healthy. The Hip-Hop community, however, is still soaking in the after-effects of Uncle Murda’s 2019 rap-up. Uncle Murda has started a tradition of dropping some 16’s and a hook at the end of each year discussing the madness and stupidity that the world created that year. This time around was no let down for Hip-hop or social media. In the 10 minute song, he gave us some good laughs but managed to tick some people off in the process, which is nothing new.
Uncle Murda came at any and everything under the sun and bit his tongue for no one. His diversity in topics ranged from K Michelle co-signing 6ix9ine’s snitching, to Trump’s Impeachment process.
Murda also touched on some of the positives that have happened this year. One of them was discussing the “When they see us” Netflix series and how it shed light on what it’s like dealing with police in the black community. He also shared his two cents about Elizabeth Lederer, the prosecutor in the case.
“That movie ’bout The Central Park Five when they see us was a real good inside look on how they treatin’ us
That prosecutor b*tch had to resign ’cause of that shit she did, she should’ve got charged with a crime”
