Here We Go Again
Public Speaking is an essential tool one needs to master if your job involves leadership. You have to articulate yourself accordingly, be a good people person, and, most importantly, know what you are talking about. So it’s a no brainer that if one is to get into politics, you should meet all of these requirements. Apparently, President Trump didn’t get the memo. And during the Corona conference earlier this week, it went downhill very fast. The lack of information, poor articulation, and boosting of self-ego, did not help him gain the American people’s confidence the other night. Below are just a small sample of the statements that Trump made in regard to the current state of the country.
“So we have the biggest economy, the greatest economy we have ever had, the highest employment numbers, the best employment numbers, best unemployment numbers, also, the best of everything.”
“Let me just say, very simply; I will put it very simply — the president of the United States has the authority to do what the president has the authority to do, which is very powerful. The president of the United States calls the shots.”
“When somebody is the president of the United States, the authority is total. And that’s the way it’s got to be.”
In case you aren’t aware, the economy is doing right now. Unemployment is at an all-time high, and Trump thinks this is a dictatorship instead of the Democratic Republic. Hopefully, we get some corona updates instead of Political red flags.
