Trippie Redd Joins SOS Lo & Chris King On “Honorable Flex” Video

For a worldwide debut, upcoming South Carolina recording artist SOS Lo calls up the aid of well-known act, Chris King, and chart-topping superstar, Trippie Redd for the standout new single/video, titled “Honorable Flex.” The song is a dark-comedy rap about stunting on the haters, blowing the best smoke and living life how they want with pockets full of commas.

Directed by Louieknows, the trio, with a couple of beautiful models, play Mystery Inc as they explore a haunted house. Ghost hovering around them, Lo, King and Trippie trade braggadocious rhymes and discovering cursed treasures until the early morning. The chemistry is electrifying, Trippie provides the star power to draw large numbers, while Lo impresses with surprisingly exciting wordplay. “Honorable Flex” is the perfect jump-on point for any newfound fan.

The single is a follow-up to SOS Lo’s duo of hot releases, “Free Lo” and “Cross My Mind.” “Honorable Flex” has achieved over one million streams since its release early 2021. The new single is produced by AP for the Ap Factor and Abraham Poythress. As the visual rises to triple digitals, SOS Lo preps his forthcoming project, expected late-2021 on DTN.

    ABOUT SOS LO

SOS LO has been recently gaining steam around the hip-hop community. Hailing from South Carolina, the rising star has had music on the brain since adolescence. “Ever since I was young I was always in music in some way,” he remembers. “I played drums for a while until I got really into sports. Then it was nothing but baseball, basketball, and football for years. Except for me and my friends freestyling every day. We always joked about actually trying to rap but it was never that serious for anyone except me. I loved the artistry and how one song could tell an entire story. Once I graduated high school I had offers to play baseball in college but turned them down to just be a student at Clemson University. After my freshman year, I decided I was really going to try and make music just because it made more sense to me than anything. Me and some guys from the hometown that made music built a studio in a storage closet of my garage. It wasn’t good but it worked well enough to get practice. I don’t know why I came in with so much confidence but I’m glad I did because my music was really bad. Like awful. But, somehow I thought I was good and knew I would only get better. After a few months of working there, I got introduced to my mentor who then worked with me for two years and molded me into the artist I am now. Take all that and boom now we make dope music.”

SOS Lo is currently signed, independently, to Death to Normalcy (DTN).
