Tory Lanez is finally being tried for allegedly shooting Megan Thee Stallion in the foot over two years ago. The rapper posted a sharp photo of him in a grey suit to his Instagram with an upliftingly hopeful caption, Have a blessed day ! 🥂

It is unclear whether or not Lanez actually shot Megan in the foot but nevertheless, it has sparked considerable public outrage! People on Twitter have gone so far as to compare Tory to Emmett Till, a child who was lynched for allegedly wolf-whistling at a white woman. Of course, most rational people find the comparison odd and extremely ridiculous!
Comparing Emmett Till who was a CHILD & was abducted, tortured, & lynched by white supremacists to Tory Lanez who shot a Black woman & then assaulted a disabled Black man… https://t.co/6dpIBSgumB pic.twitter.com/DgfVT2li0u

And of course, many women do support Meg.
Tory Lanez can be found innocent due to lack of evidence and I still would believe he shot her. As many of you fatherless men point out, the court of law isn’t always fair and justice does not always prevail. https://t.co/mo3xbHXqLu

Many have even gone so far as to rally behind Megan as an almost-martyr for the violence Black women suffer on an ongoing basis! At the end of the day, it doesn’t really matter. As Lanez himself Tweeted back in October of 2020, “the truth will come to the light … I have all faith in God to show that …”
⏰ will 🗣 … and the truth will come to the light … I have all faith in God to show that … love to all my fans and people that have stayed true to me & know my heart … a charge is not a conviction . If you have supported me or meg thru this , I genuinely appreciate u .

May justice prevail.
