Top 3 Rap Albums Dropping this July

Hip-Hop to Look Out For in July

Looking for the new hip-hop tracks to bump this summer? Then you are in luck! This year has already seen its fair share of hit artists dropping albums, and thankfully July looks to continue that trend. Check out the below list for the top 3 rap albums dropping this July!

    3. So Icy Summer by Gucci Mane

Get ready for some fresh new hip-hop for this 4th of July. Gucci Mane’s upcoming project So Icy Summer is set to drop this upcoming Friday, July 3rd. The project will feature 24 songs.

Gucci Mane headlines the tracks on the first half of the album, whereas the latter part features several big-name rappers. Some of the artists that will be on So Icy Summer include Young Thug, Lil Baby, and 21 Savage among others.

    2. Nectar by Joji

It is pretty wild to see the transition from Filthy Frank to Joji. After spending his time making a name for himself with quite the odd videos on Youtube, Joji has been able to make a smooth transition in the music scene. As the music video below shows, Frank is still keeping things a bit odd.

But this music video also showcases the musical skill that Joji has. He is able to bring a melodic and dramatic twist that is pulled off well. It has been a couple of years since his most recent album Ballads 1 dropped back in 2018, but Joji’s next project Nectar is set to be released on July 10th.

    1. Miles by Blu & Exile

Blue & Exile might not be as well known as the other two artists on the list, but I am just as excited, if not more, for the release of their newest project Miles. The duo killed it on their debut album Below the Heavens.

It has been a while since that projet dropped so it should be cool do see how Blue & Exile have progressed over the years. Their upcoming project will feature 20 tracks, giving fans a complete piece of work to enjoy. Give the single Miles Davis for the album a listen.

    Final Thoughts
