TheHxliday Drops His Anticipated “The Most Beautiful Disaster” EP

Millennial rap sensation TheHxliday shares his new highly anticipated two-part project titled The Most Beautiful Disaster . This project showcases TheHxliday versatility as a recording artist as he lets listeners hear a more vulnerable side to his creativity. Beautiful (the EP’s first part) is the softer flows while Disaster includes harder-hitting tracks like “Wit Dat” featuring Polo G.

To take this release up another notch, TheHxliday kicked off an immersive 180-degree VR concert performance, playing tracks off The Most Beautiful Disaster. Using advanced content production technology at Verizon’s 5G Lab in Los Angeles. Tune in HERE at 6:30PM ET. Watch TheHxliday describe his performance HERE.

When asked about the inspiration behind The Most Beautiful Disaster TheHxliday responded “This is my first time doing a project like this. I wanted it to have a balance of good and bad energy,” says TheHxliday, “If you listen it’s a story where it starts off light and gets deeper and darker as you dive in.”

Known for his emotionally raw yet positivity-minded lyrics, TheHxliday lets his sensitivity shine on the five unforgettable tracks that comprise Beautiful, such as “A New Life” (the piano-laced opening cut) and “miSSed Calls” (a slow-burning and soulful song featuring his falsetto vocals). The EP’s first half also includes the 19-year-old artist’s previously released single “Salsa,” a dance-ready bop that expertly blends trap and pop with a Latin twist.

Meanwhile, Disaster delivers standouts like “Devil’s Acquaintance,” which finds TheHxliday speaking out about his demons against a hypnotic backdrop of ethereal textures and bouncy beats. (who noted that “When it comes to artists making major moves so far this year, TheHxliday has got to be towards the top of the list if not in the #1 spot”).
