Damn, Not Even ‘The Simpsons’ are Fucking with Michael Jackson Now!

You know things are getting real when The Simpsons get involved.

If you watched the season 3 premiere episode of The Simpsons, then you may have to rely on memory if you ever want to watch it again. It appears that the shows executive producer, James L. Brooks, is deciding to pull the episode from the show’s memory bank. In a statement released to the Wall Street Journal, Brooks says that they can no longer continue to have the episode in circulation while such controversy surrounds MJ.

“There are a lot of great memories we have wrapped up in that one, and this certainly doesn’t allow them to remain.”

MJ appears as a guest in the 1991 episode, with a voice-over for the character known as Leon Kompowsky. In the episode, Kompowsky shares a room with Homer Simpson, in a mental institution. Although MJ isn’t given specific credit for the episode, he does contribute greatly to the show. It’s said he even wrote a special song for it, titled “Happy Birthday Lisa.”

Decisions to pull the episode comes after HBO’s Leaving Neverland.
