THE GAZE Is Back With A Unique Catchy Pop Melody “Swell”

Melbourne artist THE GAZE is back with revitalized music. The pop artist contrasts the best of both worlds with a scratchy voice bringing together indie rock with a catchy pop melody with big reverb opens THE GAZE’s new single, “Swell.”

THE GAZE is known for its collaborative process with other queer artists, producing and formulating unique songs with various international acts such as Big Dipper, Robyn Banks, and Satsuki, including friend and collaborator NIK NAVY and many more.

“Swell” lyrically talks about climate change anxiety. The four minutes is slow-paced as the soundscape is a range of emotions. “Swell” was written with NIK NAVY’s slick synth skills, who also produced and offered organic pop with a sure 90s and perfect moody backdrop feel in the arrangement.

Making a 2022 recovery with their debut album, “GREEN MANSION,” THE GAZE persists in telling unique stories through moody and unforgettable tunes. “Swell” is a dark and assertive way to end the album.
