The First Trailer for Marvel’s Black Widow is here and people are talking!
Black Widow has gained a new level of popularity since being introduced to fans in Iron Man 2. As the Marvel cinematic universe has grown so has interest in Natasha Romanoff.
If you have seen Avengers Endgame you might be wondering how Black Widow is getting her own movie seeing how things turned out. However, the film is set to take place during the time right after the civil war events.
The Black Widow movie will serve as an origin story piece for the former Russian spy. From the trailer, it appears Romanoff has returned home and is on a mission to face her past.
New characters are introduced in the film, including Romanoff’s sister, who was also trained in the spy school Natasha trained at. In the trailer, the siblings square off and show that they have similar skills.
Another character introduced in this film is Red Guardian, the Russian super-soldier meant to go against Captain America. The other character introduced in the trailer is Melina Vostokoff another former Russian spy.
The details aren’t clear to what Romanoff’s plans are but they seem to involve revenge.
Even more, their hints that Romanoff is back in here motherland to settle an old score as she can be heard saying. “We have unfinished business” and “We have to go back to where it all started”
Black Widow is the first film of Phase 4 of the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Also, it is the second Marvel movie with a woman lead following Captain Marvel which premiered in 2018.
Absent from the trailer though is Robery Doweney Jr who plays ironman, who is expected to be in the film. The last time ironman was seen wasn’t on good terms so it will be nice to see how Tony plays into this movie.
