The Cast of “Empire” React To Jussie Smollett’s Brutal Attack

The cast of Empire gives their reaction to a recent attack on the cast member, Jussie Smollett.

As we reported, two men wearing MAGA masks attacked Jussie Smollett for being black and homosexual. Specifically, they put a noose around his neck and yelled “this is MAGA” country.” But, Smollett is currently recovering from the assault.

And, people everywhere, have been showering the actor with love and support on social media. In addition to that, the cast of Empire is among those people. Terrance Howard went on Good Morning America to express his and the rest Empire’s cast and crews’ support for Smollett.

“Jussie’s the one that starts singing when everybody’s in a bad mood. He’s the one that cheers everybody up. He’s the one that does all the Instagrams if he catches you sleeping. Today, no one was caught sleeping. No one even took time to close their eyes and nap. They were all in shock that our family—you know, the Fox family, the Empire family, the Lyon family—you know, were attacked by a bunch of hyenas today.”

Taraji P.Henson also went on Instagram to show love and support.
